  1. Just a note! You can insure your ring (why it’s important to immediately get an appraisal), so if you lose it you don’t have to lose your mind!

  2. Congratulations!! I also want to add so many companies are coming out with Moissys that are SO VISUALLY SIMILAR to diamonds because of the way they are cutting them… some of them are even prettier than real diamonds too, in my opinion!! Save money and have something that is precious and beautiful and not extremely over priced. Diamonds loose value unless they are in the E-D Vvs/IF ex. everything category anyways too. 🙂

  3. Lol same as me. I am gonna use that term ‘free spirited’ too. Way better than scatter brain always losing things ha ha.

Beautiful ring! Def getting a lab diamond or moissanite for sure.

They say the moissanite shines differently too but it’s hard to tell the difference between them and diamonds.

  4. What a beautiful ring for the price!! Incredible. Your man is lucky to have you. A girl with sense and with the future in mind 🙂

  5. I feel you on not being able to be surprised. The only way I’d get a cute surprise is if I told my sister exactly what I want and had her tell my husband. 🙄 Ur man is so sweet for having the company send that fake email and at least trying his best to surprise you still.

  6. I woudent go to a store and get help, to then look for it online. I feel like thats a waist of someone elses time. Just no.

  7. Insure your ring girl!! It didn’t have to be a diamond. I personally went with Lavalier. That way in case you lose it, you don’t have to rebuy it!

  8. I know this is a year late but I’m so on board with you. I’d rather spend thousands on a house than a ring and stress about it getting lost or stolen. I can’t think of it. I’m happy I’m not the only woman who thinks this is the way to go

  9. What can congratulations on choosing I’m always tonight engagement ring my husband got me the moistenite ring I wanted they’re square brilliant cut moissanite and my wedding ring has four square brilliant moissanite stones my engagement ring has three stones it’s a past present and future ring and I’m absolutely in love with both of them I have a very expensive antique platinum and diamond past present and future ring that I initially thought about getting married with but I’m very happy that I chose moissanite and my engagement ring alone if that was diamond it would be worth about $20,000 and for our engagement anniversary my husband bought me a 3.10 carat moissanite which if that was a diamond would be about $90,000 in my opinion I think moissanite is so much more beautiful and don’t let anybody ring shame you it’s not what a ring is worth it’s what it stands for many long and healthy and happy years with you and your fiance

  10. I have both diamond and moisanite in the same setting. I Personally do prefer the diamond over moisanite, but they are both beautiful in a different way. If you can afford a diamond go for it, yes it is expensive but it’s your choice. My only take away is that diamond shines differently with moisanite. Moisanite sparkles like a rainbow which is good for other people. The only thing I just noticed is that moisanite looks kinda cloudy compared to diamonds. I have to clean it most of the time before wearing it. This is not a cheap moisanite BTW, it came from Charles and covard too. Diamonds although they do not sparkle that much as moisanite they look like transparent clear glass and I love it. I don’t have to clean it and it never gets cloud when wearing the whole day. I think that’s the thing that make it as “diamonds” I can definetely tell whether it is a diamond or moisanite by just looking at it. In the pictures it’s hard to identify which is one is diamond and moisanite but I can assure you in personal you’ll see the difference “if” you have seen both diamond and moisanite. Again this is just my opinion and my preference from wearing both. I like both of them but I’m gonna go with diamond. Also I’m not afraid wearing it coz it’s insured. I am not going to wear anything that is not insured especially if it is expensive. Again go to the stone that you can afford and you’ll think you gonna love regardless of its price. And if your worried about the diamond workers etc, go for lab diamond. It’s your choice, it’s your money and it’s your preference.

  11. I went with True Gem too I have a 2.5 carat equivalent emerald cut set in platinum in a 1.5mm diamond pave band it was $3,000 +tax my ring is the most stunning thing I’ve ever seen and I got 2 different style diamond eternity bands to go with it one was $1750+ tax and $1250+ tax my rings are all drop dead gorgeous and their customer service is second to none. If anyone wants to ask anything I’d be happy to answer. I would tell you not all moissanite is created equal and if I were to tell anyone DO NOT BUY UNTIL YOU CAN SEE IT IN PERSON, THE STONES ARE EACH DIFFERENT AND SOME DO HAVE DARK SPOTS AND AESTHETICS YOU MAY NOT LIKE. Its also better to have that personal connection when you see that stone, trust me you will know which one is for you, it’s a weird instant connection that’s really special and I wouldn’t give up that experience
