  1. 23 years ago I proposed to my wife and bought her a ring for 50 dollars which I could afford at the time and paid 10 dollars to get married at the justice of the peace. I was broke as heck at the time. Been married for that 23 years and going strong. Now money is not an issue. I love my wife for her humility and cooperation throughout the years. These women are not willing to sacrifice with a man and build something together. They want readymade. Don’t waste your time fellas. Like Kevin Samuel like to say, “but a dog and die alone”.

  2. If a MAN chooses you to be his wife; as a woman, you should already know upfront, that his heart and mind is strictly all your. Why put the brotha in DEBT just to prove something YOU already know won’t last 1-5 years down the line, because of you just waking up one morning and decided to just call it quits.

  3. She’ll want an engagement ring that costs $10,000 or more (a lot more) and believe she has the right to keep that ring if things go sideways. No way…very hard pass.
Edit: it’s an *engagement* ring. That thing shouldn’t cost even $1,000.

  4. It wasn’t a engagement ring, didn’t Kanyea west (sorry)buy Kim 5mil ring ,are they together. Weddings start off on the wrong foot ,and corns get stepped on ,as life proceeds. I’m like let go on trip with that money.

  5. This is a great example of how some women care too much about what other women think. She wants to show off an expensive wedding ring to other women. If she loves that man she would be happy with the ring he picked out especially for her, no matter what it cost.

  6. The only people that really benefit from spending a lot on Wedding Rings are the Jewelry Stores. Some would call that great advertising. Kinda like Stores putting candy at the checkout for kids to see. But, the Wedding Ring is just a symbol of marriage and commitment to one person. Not wealth.

Another example is Ladies’ Night at clubs. Ladies’ Night not really for Women; it’s to attract Men that will spend money on or for Women. People know that Women can be used to get Money out of Men. Otherwise, more Men would probably be rich. It’s even proven in the Bible. Jacob worked 14 years just be able to marry Rachel who was a beautiful and shapely woman. Now 14 years of wages is an expensive ring. But Men are overly being taken advantage of by Businesses, the Legal System and Women. So, things are changing and Women are loosing their power over Men.

And if the size of the ring is determining factor for marriage; then you’re probably not ready for marriage.

Also, Mrs. DeeDee right about Men and appreciation.

  7. I’m with you dee dee instead of buying a 15k ring let’s get a 5k ring and put the other 10k into a house. Also, you know you can exchange the rings with due time. But I’m talking about building and nobody wants to do that anymore

  8. Too many people seem to think that women are just frivolous, naive, and operating from a sense of entitlement. That’s what they want you to think. These women are being taught from a very young age to be con artists and to extract as much from a man as they can because they know that there’s a very high likelihood that the relationship will not last. So they’re being taught to have secret bank accounts, have insurance policies on you, have your social security number and IDs, and to make sure that they get you to spend as much of your money while they retain as much of their money as possible. I know many women who have basically started a whole new life by selling their engagement ring and wedding rings. Usually they’re only going to get 30 to 50% on the dollar if it’s a high quality ring so if you spend $25,000 then that’s 10 to $12,000 in her pocket once y’all break up. Modern women basically view men as a way to subsidize whatever lifestyle that they can’t fully provide for themselves. Martin women still want all the same things that traditional women have always wanted. They want security, they want love, they want children, they want a nice home, they just don’t want to have to obey any man’s rules in order to get them.

  9. To each his own she is looking at those wedding books for advice. Woman if you want a ring compromise and be happy.

  10. The more money 💰 you spend on a wedding or a ring the shorter the relationship will last.

  11. Even my wife laughed at this ridiculousness. I just upgraded her ring big time, but I didn’t have to spend $30k on it. This is just foolishness.

  12. “3 months salary” she better have a “3 months salary” paying job to buy that muthaf*cka!!!!

  13. im in agreeance with Dee Dee….I find it distasteful for a woman to force her preference on me ! it takes away from the majic of the moment. the element of suprise! dont force me to go ring window shopping just so you can show me what your preference is in wedding rings. keep that between you and your BFF. if or when I decide that its time to pop the question I want to do that in my own special way! it shows that I genuinely love you and all that heart felt stuff.. I KNOW men aint gone move fast enough for women!

  14. You want a 3 month salary spend on a damn ring?! You crazy as hell! My gf said she doesn’t want an expensive ring, we found a good ring for $40 and she loved it. She is definitely built different. I can’t wait to marry this woman.

  15. Deedee! I love when Kevin samuels use your voice sample, it’s so funny,😂 keep up the good work, we love you 😍

  16. The 3 months salary thing came from DeBeers, IIRC. Nothing more than a marketing ploy to sell diamonds at a premium, just like they artificially restricted supply to inflate the price of diamonds.

  17. It demonstrates value (or lack of). If she values the man, a toy ring would bear as much significance and sentimental value in sufficiency. If she values what she can take from him over the person himself, her lack of valuing the person and lack of love is demonstrated by the significance of the value of the ring. Actual love for the person would be seen in the desire to be around the person absent a ring or even to her being willing to render costs herself. A demand for a ring is a sign that relationship needs cut off. Your material collection value exceeded your personal value…and personal significance will be shat upon. An object rather then a person.
